Buying life insurance should not depend on how well you see a screen, how steady your hands are, or whether you use a mouse. I want this website to work for everyone who comes to it.

This is the important part of this page. If any part of this website is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell me and I will fix it. In the meantime, I will help you directly, in whatever way works for you, and you will not miss out on anything because of it.

The standard I am working toward
I am working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard most commonly used for websites like this one.
I want to be straight with you rather than post a badge: this website is currently being rebuilt, and it does not fully meet that standard yet. I know about several of the gaps and they are being worked through as part of that rebuild. I would rather tell you that honestly than claim otherwise.
What is being worked on
- Text that meets contrast minimums against its background.
- Every function reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- Form fields with real, permanent labels rather than placeholder text.
- Meaningful alternative text on images that carry information.
- Respecting your system setting for reduced motion.
- A layout that works on a phone without horizontal scrolling.

Some parts of this site link out to services I do not control, such as a scheduling calendar. I cannot guarantee the accessibility of a website I did not build. If you hit a barrier on one of them, tell me and I will handle that step with you directly instead.
