Meet Mercedez, the person behind the agency.
Mercedez Kuse
Owner and Independent Agent, The Trow Insurance Agency
Why I do this
Most people meet life insurance at the worst possible moment. Someone has died, or someone is sick, and a family is trying to read a policy for the first time under the heaviest circumstances of their lives. It should not work that way.
I started The Trow Insurance Agency so that the conversation could happen earlier, slower, and in language that does not require a glossary. I would rather you understand a small policy than sign a large one you cannot explain to your spouse.
I work primarily with younger families, the people who tend to assume they have time. Sometimes they do. That is exactly why it is a good moment to look.
What working with me looks like
- We start with a conversation, not an application.
- I explain the tradeoffs in plain language, including the parts that are not in my favor.
- You see options from more than one carrier, side by side.
- Nothing gets submitted until you say you are ready.
- I stay your point of contact after the policy is in place.
What independent actually means for you
It is a word every agency uses, so it is worth being specific about it.
- I am not captive to a single insurance company, so I am not steering you toward one shelf.
- Carriers price the same person differently. Comparing them is most of the work.
- My compensation comes from the carrier when you choose a policy, so my help costs you nothing extra.
- If the honest answer is that you do not need more coverage right now, I will tell you that.
Where I work
The Trow Insurance Agency is based in New Franken, Wisconsin, and I am licensed in 10 states. The whole practice runs remotely, by phone, video, and email, so where you live matters less than whether I am licensed there. Products, features, and availability vary by state and by carrier.
If you have worked with me and want to share your experience, I would be grateful if you would leave a review.
