This policy explains what happens to information you share with The Trow Insurance Agency through this website. It describes what the website actually does today. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Who this is about
The Trow Insurance Agency is an independent life insurance agency based in New Franken, Wisconsin, operated by Mercedez Kuse. You can reach me at mercedez@thetrowagency.com or 920-328-5403.
What this website collects automatically
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they come from. It does this by setting cookies in your browser and sending Google information about your visit, including your IP address.
I use it to see which pages are actually useful, so I can write better ones. It is not used to identify you personally, it is not used for advertising, and there are no advertising pixels on this site. You can block it with your browser's cookie or tracking settings, or with an extension, and nothing on this site will stop working.
Like any website, the service that delivers these pages processes ordinary technical request information, such as your IP address, in order to send the page to you. That is handled by the hosting provider described below, not by me.
What happens when you use the contact form
When you submit the form, what you typed is sent securely to this website's server, saved so that your enquiry cannot be lost, and emailed to me. You also receive a short email confirming it arrived.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person and not an automated script is submitting it. It does not read what you have written.
The saved copy exists for one reason: so that if the email fails for any reason, your message still reaches me. It is not used for anything else.
Information you send me directly
When you email, call, text, or book a time with me, I receive whatever you choose to share. Typically that is your name, your contact details, the state you live in, and a description of what you are trying to accomplish.
I use that information to respond to you and to help with the insurance question you came to me with. That is the only reason I use it.
What I will never ask for on this website
If a form on any website asks you for these before you have applied for anything, stop.
- Your Social Security number.
- Bank account, routing, or card numbers.
- Passwords to any carrier or online account.
- Your full medical history or medical records.
If a formal application is ever the right next step, that happens through the insurance carrier's own secure process, not through a form on this site.
Who else is involved
A small number of outside services are involved in delivering this website. Each has its own privacy policy, which governs what it does with information it receives.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website, processes technical request information such as IP addresses in order to serve the pages, provides the Turnstile check on the form, and stores the saved copy of your submission.
- Resend delivers the email that your form submission generates, both the copy that comes to me and the confirmation that goes to you.
- Google Analytics measures how the website is used, as described above. Google receives information about your visit, including your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used here. Your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, and Google receives that request.
- Calendly is used for scheduling. It only receives information if you choose to click through and book a time, and anything you enter there is entered on Calendly's website under Calendly's policy.
Sharing your information
I do not sell, rent, or trade your information. I do not share it for advertising.
If you decide you want to apply for coverage, the information needed for that application is shared with the insurance company you are applying to, because that is what an application is. I will tell you before anything is submitted, and nothing is submitted unless you ask for it. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep what you send me for as long as it is needed to help you, and for as long as applicable law and insurance recordkeeping requirements call for.

If you want to know what I hold about you, or you would like it corrected or deleted, email me at mercedez@thetrowagency.com or call 920-328-5403 and I will take care of it. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
Children
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
This website is actively being rebuilt. When what it does changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. If you have a question about any of it, ask me directly.
